3D Pool Design Process

When you contact Sahara Construction about building a custom pool, the process begins with our free design consultation. We’ll discuss your ideas, answer any questions and lay out how the designing and building process works. We may even schedule a time to visit in person before creating an estimate of what we’ve discussed. From there we’ll work up a 3D drawing to give you a full view of how the completed project will look.

Once a final drawing is decided upon Sahara provides an HOA (homeowner association) package for the homeowner to turn into their specific association. After the HOA approves the application we move on to any necessary engineering / permitting that comes with the specific project. Once permits are obtained we will call 811 Dig Safe to have underground utilities marked so that everything continues as smooth as possible. While dig test is being done we will settle on a start date for the project at that point.

 

Once ground is broke you can expect approximately 6-8 weeks for a normal size pool or 1-2 weeks for a normal size patio cover to be completed. Having the owner Chris Harrell manage the project, allows Sahara to keep a logical construction schedule. In construction things happen, weather, material delays, etc, but having someone who is truly responsible for the timeline is what makes the difference. This eliminates the middle man that most homeowners get fed up. Any questions/concerns are communicated directly to Chris (owner) for a fast response!
