We recently had Sahara Construction to install a pool, stamped concrete patio, patio cover and pergola in our backyard. WOW! What a great job. Even though the rains set-in for a couple of weeks and halted construction for a while, the worked performed was done in a superior manner.

We had several pool builders bid on our new pool and went with Sahara Construction. They were not the low bidder but as I did a little investigating on the equipment being offered from other providers and Sahara Construction, we decided on Sahara.
Chris was available whenever I needed him to answer questions or to hear my concerns and handled them professionally. When something didn’t go as planned I didn’t find out from anyone but Chris and he was accountable for everything even things out of his control. The job came in within the planned cost and in a very reasonable timeframe, compared to other people I knew who had pools built. It just what my wife and I envisioned when we sat down and thought about how we wanted our backyard to look.

Chris and Sahara built our pool two years ago. This past week a pair of goggles and a sock somehow found their way into a suction line (kids – have to love them). We called out a local plumber (name withheld) who struggled to resolve the issue. Throughout the ordeal I was in touch with Chris. Chris provided much needed help and info to share with the plumbing company. Eight hours later the local plumbing company left without clearing the pipe while also managing to break their auger bit – in the clogged line. This was on Friday evening at 5 o’clock. Having already drained the pool for the work we were a bit stressed. I called Chris to give him and update to which he replied, “Relax. My guys will be there tomorrow morning.” Mind you, this would be Saturday morning! His team showed up, worked their tails off and got us up and running again. This is who and what Shara is about. They aren’t a company who just builds your pool. Sahara is a company who takes care of their customers. Loyalty!

I had an outdoor kitchen built by Sahara. Gary and Chris were both extremely professional and very prompt on getting things done. I had a certain deadline the kitchen had to be done by in order to tie into my mortgage and they had it done WELL within the target date! The final product was everything I wanted and then some!

I have nothing but great things to say about this company. They provided a quick and accurate bid which worked with our budget, they juggled their many ongoing jobs to accommodate our requested completion date and even finished early. All of the workers were very nice, respectful and talented. I always knew what was happening and why every step of the way and was always able to reach Michael (the co-owner) any time I had questions.
There were no problems getting HOA approval because of their reputation for quality work. They went above and beyond to ensure that everything was just perfect and even brought in sod to replace the grass where wheel barrels left a trail. The end result was an absolutely beautiful outdoor kitchen and extended covered patio even better than expected.
It looks like it was an original part of the house. Michael has an eye for design and is wonderful to work with. If we decide to have any other work done Sahara will be the ones we will call hands down. If you’re looking to improve your back yard, you cannot get any better than Sahara and this is coming from an extremely picky person with a background in architecture and construction.

A big thanks to the Sahara crew for our new back yard. They did a Pool, patio extension, all new fencing and landscape in 2 months. Our project was always evolving along the way.
